Across 20 intensive sessions, you will learn how to approach makeup professionally rather than simply reproduce a look seen online. You will learn to analyse the individual in front of you, understand what their skin and features need, select products and techniques, create a look suited to the occasion and finish it to a professional standard.

The programme also takes you into client consultations, professional hygiene, kit building, pricing, branding, portfolio development, social media, client management and business fundamentals.

You will not just leave knowing more about makeup. You will leave knowing what to do with that knowledge.

The 120-Hour Professional Journey

20 sessions × 6 hours | 11 AM – 5 PM

1. 01
   Phase 01 — Understand the Face

   Sessions 01–03: professional makeup artistry, facial anatomy, face shapes, proportions, feature analysis, eye and lip shapes, skin types, skin tones and undertones, Indian skin tones, client needs, skin preparation and colour correction.
2. 02
   Phase 02 — Master the Base

   Sessions 04–06: foundation formulations, coverage and finishes, shade and undertone matching, customised shades, application techniques, pigmentation and texture, long-wear techniques, contouring, highlighting, bronzing, blush, glow and complexion finishing.
3. 03
   Phase 03 — Eyes That Make the Look

   Sessions 07–10: eye anatomy and shapes, eyeshadow placement, blending, smokey eyes, smudged eyes, kohl, liner, glitter, shimmer, metallics, halo eyes, cut crease, brows, lashes and professional eye finishing.
4. 04
   Phase 04 — Lips, Bridal & Occasion

   Sessions 11–15: lip preparation and correction, lining, symmetry, overlining, contouring, custom colour mixing, bridal complexion, bridal eyes, long-wear makeup, photography-friendly makeup, humidity and sweat management, complete bridal looks and occasion/party makeup.
5. 05
   Phase 05 — Complete the Look

   Sessions 16–17: hair preparation, blow-drying, straightening, curling, waves, volume, basic party and bridal hairstyles, extensions, padding, accessories, saree draping, lehenga dupatta placement, head draping and coordination of makeup, hair, jewellery and outfit.
6. 06
   Phase 06 — Become the Professional

   Sessions 18–20: professional kit building, hygiene, sourcing, pricing, packages, advance payments, cancellation policies, travel charges, client consultations, communication, personal branding, social media, portfolio development, networking, referrals and final assessment.

Professional Hygiene

Training includes brush hygiene, product sanitisation, disposable product usage, workstation hygiene, client hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, kit maintenance and product handling.

Final Assessment & Launch Day

The final assessment brings the programme together. Students independently consult with a model, analyse skin and features, select products, prepare the skin, create the complexion, design the eye look, apply lashes, complete lips, finish the look, manage time, maintain professional hygiene, present and photograph the final work.

Personalised feedback is provided on strengths, technique and areas requiring further development.

The course ends with a plan — not simply a certificate.

With over 14 years of experience in bridal makeup artistry, Rekha brings hands-on experience working with real clients, different skin types, features, personalities and expectations.

Her approach to makeup is simple: makeup is a form of self-expression. There are no rules; anything you wear, wear it with confidence and carry it with pride.

As an educator, her focus is not on teaching students to reproduce one signature look. It is on helping them understand skin, structure, products, technique and decision-making so they can adapt their skills to the person sitting in front of them.

A Note From Rekha

I don't want to teach you how to copy my makeup. I want to teach you how to think like a makeup artist.

The programme is designed to help students understand the reasoning behind techniques, practise them properly and gradually develop confidence in making their own decisions. Along with makeup, the training covers clients, hygiene, products, kits, pricing, business and the practical realities of turning a passion into a profession.
