2.1 About Our Services
We provide professional makeup artistry using HD and Airbrush techniques, along with makeup training courses and personal shopping assistance. Our makeup services cover:
- Bridal Makeup — including Pre-Wedding, Sangeet, and Wedding Day makeup, typically preceded by a personalised consultation covering your vision, skin type/condition, outfit, jewellery, venue, and timing, with on-site assistance on the day of the event.
- Engagement Makeup — for engagement ceremonies and related pre-wedding functions.
- Non-Bridal Makeup — for members of the bridal party/family (e.g., bridesmaids, relatives) attending wedding-related events.
- Party Makeup — for birthdays, anniversaries, and other social events.
- Editorial Makeup — for magazine, shoot, and portfolio-style looks.
- Fashion Makeup — for runway, fashion shows, and creative/avant-garde looks.
We use premium makeup products from established brands (such as MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, HUDA Beauty, Lancôme, Urban Decay, and Anastasia Beverly Hills, among others) and follow standard hygiene practices, including sanitising tools, brushes, and accessories before use.
Service availability, exact packages, and pricing are communicated directly upon enquiry and may vary based on the specific service, location, date, occasion, and individual requirements, and are subject to change without prior notice.
2.2 Enquiries & Bookings
- Submitting the enquiry/contact form on the Site (or contacting us via phone/WhatsApp/email/social media) does not automatically confirm a booking.
- A booking is confirmed only after we have (a) discussed and agreed on the service, date, location, and price, and (b) received any applicable advance/booking payment, where required.
- You are responsible for providing accurate information (name, contact details, event date, venue, and any relevant preferences or sensitivities, e.g., skin allergies) at the time of enquiry/booking.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, including in cases of double-booking conflicts, unavailability, or inability to service the requested location.
2.3 Pricing & Payment
- Prices for our Services are quoted on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of service, number of people, location, travel, and date.
- An advance/booking amount may be required to confirm a booking; the balance is typically payable on or before the date of service, as communicated at the time of booking.
- All payments are due in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed.
- Prices are subject to change; however, once a booking is confirmed with an agreed price, that price will not be altered unless the scope of service changes (e.g., additional people, extra looks, change of venue/date).
2.4 Client Responsibilities
- Please arrive/be available at the agreed time and location. Delays caused by the client may affect the quality or completeness of the service and are not the responsibility of Makeup by Rekha Krishnamurthy.
- Please inform us in advance of any known skin allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions relevant to makeup application.
- We are not liable for reactions to products used, where such reactions arise from undisclosed allergies or sensitivities.
2.5 Makeup Courses & Training
- Course schedules, fees, curriculum, and certification (if any) will be communicated separately at the time of enrolment.
- Enrolment is confirmed only upon payment of applicable course fees.
- Course materials, techniques, and content shared during training are for the personal learning of the enrolled participant and may not be reproduced, recorded, resold, or redistributed without our written consent.
2.6 Intellectual Property
- All content on the Site — including text, images, portfolio photographs, logos, and videos — is the property of Rekha Krishnamurthy / Makeup by Rekha Krishnamurthy or used with permission, and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- Photographs/videos taken during a booking (bridal shoots, events, etc.) may be used by us for portfolio, marketing, or promotional purposes (including on our website and social media), unless you specifically request otherwise in writing at the time of booking.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our Services are provided on a professional best-effort basis; however, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, as results can be influenced by factors such as skin type, lighting, photography, and individual preferences.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our Services or the Site.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific booking shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that particular booking.

The Site links to third-party platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, YouTube, WhatsApp, Google). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these external platforms.
2.9 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
